About the class:
This class provides beginning- intermediate classical ballet/modern dance barre warm up for greater conditioning and technique followed by movement exploration through contemporary choreography.
One of the more popular exercise movements; the “ballet/modern barre” offers greater tone and flexibility that is creative and inspiring. Join us and learn the fundamentals of a graceful practice and great form exercise. Trinity focuses on the joy of movement and creative expression using ballet/modern fundamentals that embrace healthy movement and technique that will enrich any practice from Yoga, Bollywood Jazz & Pilates! Techniques used: Jose Limon, Martha Gram, Klein, release, & contemporary ballet movement.
About Trinity Ava:
Trinity enjoyed a healthy career as an international professional contemporary ballet dancer based in Europe. Trinity offers over 24 years of movement awareness, injury prevention and considers herself a lifelong student of movement (SUNY Purchase BFA Dance NY, LA High School for the Arts). Trinity has studied with masters in a variety of traditions: The Klein technique, , Jose Limon, Martha Gram Studio N.Y., dance improvisation, Pilates, Waldorf education and has worked with all age groups of children and teens for over 13 years. Trinity continues to be inspired by movement exploration, improvisation and the choreographic works of Batsheva, Galili dance, and many others.
Trinity brings the joy of movement to her pre-ballet classes, contemporary movement and Yoga practice. Trinity is a certified Yoga instructor through the White Lotus Foundation with Ganga White and Tracy Rich.
